Automatic Updates

How legal updates are detected and applied

5 articles in this category

Rulewize's automatic update system keeps your handbook current with employment law changes without you having to do anything.

The process: 1. Detection — Our system scans federal and state legal databases daily for changes that affect employment law. 2. Analysis — When a change is detected, the system analyzes which handbook sections are impacted. 3. Generation — New compliant language is generated for the affected sections, reflecting the updated law. 4. Notification — You receive a detailed notification explaining what changed, why, and how the update affects your handbook. 5. Application — Depending on your settings, updates are either applied automatically or queued for your review.

What types of changes trigger updates:

  • New laws taking effect
  • Amendments to existing laws
  • Changes in regulatory guidance
  • Updated enforcement policies
  • Threshold changes (e.g., minimum wage increases)

Your control: You always have full control. Even with automatic updates enabled, you can review every change, modify the proposed language, or revert to the previous version.
