You can update your company details at any time from the Settings page.

How to update: 1. Go to the Regenerate modal (click "Regenerate" on your handbook page) to update industry, state, employee count, and pay structure. 2. Changes are saved to your profile and reflected when you regenerate.

Updating additional states (Business plan): Go to Settings → State Coverage to add or remove additional states your handbook covers.

What happens when you change your state or industry: Changing these is a significant update because different states and industries have different employment law requirements. When you regenerate, Rulewize: 1. Identifies which handbook sections are affected by the changes. 2. Regenerates those sections with the correct legal requirements. 3. Preserves any custom edits you've made — your version history is maintained.

Changing your primary state: Your primary state is the main jurisdiction for your handbook. To change it, contact our support team — a primary state change requires a full handbook regeneration and careful review.
